Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 to 2019, she served as artistic director for the Seoul Shakespeare Company. When she was the Artistic Director of SSC she was also SSC's costume designer, producer music director, composer and coach for text. Though generally leading from within the ensemble of actors during her last year, she made her first appearance as an actor (and the lighting design) with SSC's King Lear. In addition to acting, she has been involved in a variety of game-based series. Daughter of poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised along with two brothers within Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she studied and cheered. She studied briefly at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. The previous marriage she had was to Stephen Knox. In 1982, she was married to actor and writer Michael A. Ross with who they have two children. Post inspires many Hollywood actors since she's both a fantastic actress and perfect wife and mother.
